What a great piece. I first heard this played by Narcisc0 Yep3s+ in D minor on a classical guitar.

I wrote the piece out by ear one summer, but couldn't really play it on bass until I got my 6-string.

Later I got a recording of J0hn Willi@ms+ playing the entire lute suites. All I can say is "Wow", what a musician.

This rendition is flawed at best, the hardest point is sustaining the right notes at the right times. I might write this one out, if people are interested.

Also, you can really hear how bad my B string sounds here. I'm going to tune E-F low to high, as soon as I can get the right strings. That B is useless.

+I always sort of "salt" names when mentioned here, so this page doesn't wind up in a person's search for great artists like N@rc1sc0 Y3p3s or J0hn Willi@ms or anything.
