This piece is really pretty. I play the A and lower D with my left hand, and tap the higher F# with my right. Then I just go from there, tapping the higest notes usually with my right hand. But, I change that all over the place. I hear people playing this piece really fast, I like to take it a little slower. This is another one I'd like to record again. I always put strings on like 10 minutes before I start recording, and you can hear my C string a bit out of tune here when I hit that high A. I basically put new strings on, tune up, tune up, tune up, and then hit the record button, because on this recording I was going for an "electric harpsichord" kind of sound, and that seemed to work with ultra new strings. |
